I began by hand sketching different ideas. I finally chose to showcase an average American diet of pizza and soda on a Roman column to personify societal norms. The poster depicts hands reaching up a column, functioning as a powerful symbol for the relentless rat race that consumes American society. They represent the pursuit of success and societal ideals. Often at the expense of personal well-being. These hands embody the constant drive fueled by consumerism, reflecting the exhausting cycle of work, and consumption that overshadows health and fulfillment.
